Why is the company named LSB Industries (LSB)?
 When LSB Industries was originally formed, its largest subsidiary marketed products under the trade-name “L&S Bearings”. The bearing products were marked with the initials “LSB” and that business had significant consumer brand recognition, leading to the name “LSB”.

When was LSB incorporated?
 LSB was originally formed in Oklahoma in 1968. LSB was subsequently incorporated in the state of Delaware in January 1977 and the Oklahoma corporation was merged into and survived by the current Delaware corporation.

FISCAL YEAR & REPORTING

When does LSB’s fiscal year end?
 LSB’s fiscal year, or 12-month accounting period, is based on the calendar year and ends on December 31.

When does LSB report quarterly financial results?
 As a public company, LSB is required to file quarterly financial earnings based on the guidelines set forth by the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC). Exact dates vary each quarter, however, LSB generally files its quarterly results within 40 days after the end of each quarter (March 31, June 30, and September 30) and annual earnings within 60 days after the end of the year.

How do I know if I am a “registered shareholder”?
 You are a registered shareholder if you hold your stock in certificate form or if your stock is held in book-entry form at our transfer agent, Computershare. A registered owner appears on the list of “stockholders of record” maintained by Computershare for LSB. Registered shareholders receive their corporate communications such as annual reports and proxy statements directly from the company or Computershare.

What are book entry shares?
 Book-entry shares under the Direct Registration System (DRS) allow you to be a registered owner of shares without having a physical stock certificate in your possession. The “book-entry” form of ownership eliminates some of the problems of paper certificates such as storage and safety of the certificates or replacing lost certificates.

I did not receive my annual proxy materials or proxy card – what should I do?
 If you are an LSB shareholder on the record date, you should receive proxy materials a few weeks in advance of our annual shareholders meeting.
